Large fire burning near village in southern Cephalonia

A large fire broke out near the village of Karavados in southern Cephalonia, the fire brigade said on Thursday, adding that strong winds are blowing in the area.
Fourteen firemen with six vehicles, a team on foot and local residents are fighting to keep the flames away from the houses.
