Man arrested on multiple counts of arson is released

Α 33-year-old man was released after his deposition to the Prosecutor, after being arrested in Preveza, as he twice tried to burn rural and forest land.
According to information, the 33-year-old confessed to his actions to the Fire Brigade, by which he was arrested in the context of the immediate prosecution process.
The 33-year-old was accused of causing a fire intentionally and repeatedly, as according to the evidence, he set fire in the Sousali region of the Kriopigi Local Community and on two other occassions.
The first was August 7 and the second August 19. The second time and a few hours after the fire was put out the fire brigade was led to his arrest.
After his deposition to the Prosecutor, he was set a regular trial date and was released.
