Well known showbiz personalities involved in cocaine ring

Television presenters, actors, models and entrepreneurs will face the court this coming May, facing serious charges of drug law offenses.
A total of 27 defendants are involved in the case, some of whom even face the charge of establishing and directing a criminal organization.
According to the newspaper "Ethnos", well known names from the field of entertainment seemed to be involved in the cocaine traffickingring.
In particular, a well-known entrepreneur, owner of a well-known restaurant-bar in Kolonaki, an actress/sex symbol and her son, who is active in the catering industry, and a morning newscaster are, according to the newspaper, among those involved and who will sit in the dock.
According to the same source, the gang started operating in 2013, when the 53-year-old entrepreneur bought stock in the Kolonaki restaurant bar. Since then, strange bookings began appearing at the restaurant. Well known showbiz personalities seemed to "fill" the store by booking a "hidden" table in the basement, where the 53-year-old supplied them with cocaine.
Reservations were sometimes for "one person" or "for a table", while many were those who ordered a "bottle". Depending on the booking, the owner understood the amount of cocaine that each customer wanted. The deals took place in the toilets.
However, trafficking was not limited to his shop, as the 53-year-old also walked around Kolonaki where he delivered drugs to specific venues.
According to the newspaper the 53-year-old twice supplied a quantity to a well-known businessman from Mykonos, while a script writeris also involved in the case and has testified that he had also bought cocaine from the enterpreneur in the Lycabettus, with the mediation of a well known actress.
It seems, therefore, that the 53-year-old owner of the restaurant is the main trafficker.
