Olympiakos fans clash with police in Piraeus

Scuffles broke out in Piraeus before the speech of Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos.
Conflicts between police forces and Olympiakos FC fans who had gathered at Korai Square near the "Theoxenia" hotel where the event of the SYRIZA prefectural committee was scheduled with the main speaker of the Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos at about 17:20.
The Olympiakos supporters who wanted to demonstrate against treatment of their club by sports authorities, were expected by police who boxed them in. The fans responded by throwing stones and items against police and burning trash bins.
