Eurovision: Netta scores first for Israel, Foureira second for Cyprus

After a tense vote with the jury's score shaping the final result, Netta Barzilai managed to take the lead, with a 93-point difference from Eleni Foureira and her song Fuego.
It should be noted that the singer from Israel, for several weeks, was the favorite for the top positions (along with Eleni Foureira) in forecasts for this year's Eurovision win.
Netta - full name Netta Barzilai - picked up a total of 529 points to take the title, while bookies' favourite Eleni Foureira from Cyprus got 436 points, with Fuego.
Besides, she found the way to attract attention, as both her eccentric appearances and her gestures and facial expressions on camera elicited positive responses from both the audience and the jury and led her to the top spot.
Meanwhile, Elena Foureira made her first posting after her explosive appearance at Eurovision and her second place finish representing Cyprus, on Instagram.
"Thank you Europe for your love and support. I will never forget this experience! That's just the beginning," the singer wrote, and continued by thanking her colleagues.
