The Economy and Development Ministry has announced the start of five new ESPA fund (2014-2020) programs, totaling 365 million euros that will support entrepreneurship, improve the energy needs of hospitals and support local economies.
Commenting on the new programs, Alternate Economy and Development Minister Alexis Charitsis said that the ministry is moving ahead with specific steps that respond to the needs of the real economy and local communities, putting into effect its commitment for fair and sustainable growth.
"The new programs are being implemented as part of a strategy to upgrade basic infrastructure, support local economies and essentially strengthen the production process. More initiatives, like this, will follow," he said.
