IDE (INTRACOM Defense Electronics) participated in the conference "Innovative Energy Solutions for Military Applications" (IESMA 2018) held on 14-16 November 2018 in Vilnius, Lithuania.
The event, organized every two years by the NATO Energy Security Center of Excellence (ENSEC COE), brings together the interest and attention of NATO and industry government and military experts and presents innovative energy systems to improve sustainability and efficiency in Military operations.
IDE's showroom was attended, amongst others, by the Lithuanian Undersecretary of Defense, Mr Umbrasas, the Ambassador of Greece to Lithuania Ms. Dikopoulou and the Director of NATO ENSEC COE Colonel Petkevičius.
During the conference, IDE presented the Hybrid Power Systems (HEPS) and more specifically the HG Hybrid Generator series intended for growth in mobile tactical forces.
IDE has presented its advanced 3-phase Hybrid Generator HGT20K, an integrated power system suitable for extending the duration of the mission, with remarkable reduction in fuel consumption, while drastically reducing maintenance requirements and offering interconnectivity for different applications.
This system was presented to IESMA 2018 immediately after its use in the field during the NATO Trident Junction 2018 exercise held in Norway. The HGT20K generator attracted considerable interest during the exhibition and was presented to many NATO military officers.
