Greek ferry thrills Italians

Although the major Greek shipyards face serious financial problems due to the mistakes made in the past but also due to the competition that they face from Asian shipyards, but some Greek shipyards continue their work and even carry out exports.
More specifically, the RO-RO ferry "Trinacria" (IMO 9818917) built in Perama at the MEGATECHNIKA shipyard was delivered a few days ago to the Italian company Bluferries, which is a subsidiary of Italian Railways to carry out the Messina-San Giovanni route, joining Sicily with mainland Italy.
The two-way Greek ship, originally called "Ocean I", is 104 meters long and can carry 400 passengers and 23 trucks or 150 vehicles.
The total shipbuilding cost of the vessel reached 14.5 million euros and according to information there is an option of the Italian company to build another ship
