Lanthimos' "The Favourite" gets Golden Globe for female lead

George Lanthimos is leaving with a Golden Globe for his film's star Olivia Colman from the awards that are seen as a precursors to the Oscars.
Olivia Colman won the award for her role as Queen Anna in the award-winning "The Favourite" by Giorgos Lanthimos.
The big winners were, for best dramatic movie in the Golden Globes 2019, Bohemian Rhapsody featuring the life of Freddy Mercury, and in the comedy / musical category first prize went to the "Green Book" by Peter Farrell.
For her part, Olivia Colman thanked Giorgos Lanthimos for the film she participated in and joked saying she wanted to cry, but could not because her table would laugh at her. As he said he would like to express other feelings as to how important Lanthimos fim was, but could not find words to do it because she was moved.
