5th Greek Maritime Golf Event returns from 8-9 June 2019 at Costa Navarino

The top golf tournament for the shipping community “Greek Maritime Golf Event”, following its four successful years and its great appeal in the field of Greek and global shipping industry, returns for the 5th consecutive year at Costa Navarino from 8-9 June 2019.Golf enthusiasts activated in the Greek shipping industry will have the chance to compete in the two signature 18-hole courses, The Dunes Course and The Bay Course, in a landscape full of centuries-old olive trees with stunning views of the Ionian Sea and the historic Bay of Navarino.
Participants will form teams of four golfers and compete at both team and individual levels in a shotgun scramble that will take place on Saturday, June 8th. Teams participating will claim the prizes for the top three positions in the overall standings; while special awards will be given to individual players who will achieve the best scores in the special categories “Longest Drive” and “Closest to the Pin”.
More information on the full program of this year’s event and the unique experiences, both on and off the course, that golfers will enjoy during the tournament will be announced in the coming weeks.
The “Greek Maritime Golf Event”, is organized by Golf Events 18, an initiative of the recognized Greek PGA golfers, Mr. Panagiotis and Mr. Thanos Karantzias. The top golf tournament is exclusively addressed to distinguished executives of the Greek shipping community.
