Citizen Protection Minister Michalis Chryssochoidis has been at the coordination centre since early on Monday for emergency meetings in order to solve problems as a result of the heavy rainfall in Attica and other regions of the country.
The Fire Brigade has received 40 calls so far.
Schools in Attica will remain closed Monday until 10 a.m. due to problems raised by a storm, authorities said.
The Athens-Corinth highway has been closed as a result of heavy rain.
