Greek dep. Defence Minister and Portuguese PM visit Samos, briefed on migrants flows

The Deputy Minister of National Defense, Alkiviadis Stephanis, visited the under construction Reception and Identification Center on Samos on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 and inspected the progress of the work. He was further informed and watched the day and night patrols by the Coast Guard.
During his visit, he received the Prime Ministerof Portugal Mr. António Costa, and the Minister of Defense Mr. João Titterington Gomes Cravinho, in the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Panagiotis Pikrammenos, who accompanied him on a visit to FRONTEX forces. The Deputy Minister was accompanied by the Special Secretary-General of the Ministry of Citizen Protection, Mr. Emmanuel Logothetis.
