The will and desire of the women of the village of Agala in Zakynthos created something spectacular.
A knitted Christmas tree. When imagination, will, persuasion and passion come together, impressive things can be created by women in Zakynthos, from the cultural association of Agala who started making the Christmas tree in the summer.
According to zantetimes.gr women in Zakynthos have had this thought since summer. They began to knit, made 382 pieces, which came together and produced an amazing result.
It took 150 yarns and even children helped in the knitting, which took place every Sunday when they all got together. Even the star of the tree is knitted! Watch the video on women's creation in Zakynthos.
