Senior citizen shoots and kills municipal employee over burst water pipe in Dionysos

One man has been shot dead at a bus depot in the area of Dionysos, a town and a municipality in northeastern Attica, Greece, 18 km northeast of Athens.
According to initial reports, a 77-year-old man went to the municipal vehicle depot and shot and killed a 55-year-old employee a little before 9 am. The perpetrator had fled the scene, but was arrested a little later..
Police are investigating the motive behind the attack, but believed the two men most likely had personal differences. However, according to the perpetrator he went to complain about a burst waterpipe that had flooded his home. After three complaints he decided to go to the municipal serrvices personally, but was armed. A shouting match ensued which was followed by the 77 year old shootig the municipal employee in nthe head thrice.
The victim was the head of the municipality's water service, was married, but childless.
