Students of the 1st EPAL (Vocational High School) in Kordelio Thessaloniki have occupied the school after the footage shown in a video, which shows a student "bullying" a teacher may lead to his prosecution.
The incident occurred a year ago, with the student being sentenced to one day of expulsion. However, the video of the event came to light just a few days ago. According to the plans, the minor shouts, screams and threatens the teacher, demanding that she strike off his "absence".
Despite the student's temperament, the teacher demonstrates unparalleled calm, maintaining her cool throughout the incident. "With the kids we have to be careful. Inside a classroom we must be like a church. But even if the kids aren't quiet in the classroom, I still have to be cool. I'm an educator pointing the way, ”said the teacher, speaking to the Open television.
For its part, the Ministry of Education immediately intervened with the relevant Minister, Niki Kerameus, to make clear that "such incidents have no place in our schools". "The video is already being investigated properly," she rushed to add.
