One killed and one seriously injured in fight in downtown Athens

A man was killed and another is seriously injured after a clash broke out in downtown Athens on Thursday.
According to reports, the scuffle took place on the corner of Menandrou and Sapfous streets and both men are of Afghani origin. The victim was reportedly stabbed, although it was confirmed that shots were fired.
Police who rushed to the area found gun shells at the scene. The one man was killed by gun shot wound, while the seriously injured man was stabbed.
