Venizelos in Strasbourg

Evangelos Venizelos will visit Strasbourg on Tuesday, in order to participate as President of the EU Council of Ministers with the Farmakonisi tragedy on the agenda of talks.
Government Vice President and Foreign Affairs Minister, Evangelos Venizelos will sign, along with Martin Schulz, the approved European legislation.
Government Vice-President and Foreign Affairs Minister on Tuesday will attend a luncheon, hosted by the President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz in honor of the Italian President Giorgio Napolitano.
At the European Parliament Plenary, Venizelos on Tuesday will speak on the need to establish a tax on financial transactions. On Wednesday, he will address issues, such as the problem of Syrian refugees on the Bulgarian border, the EU-Russia Summit, as well as tthe recent sea tragedy in Farmakonissi and its consequences.
