Eighty migrants/refugees were identified and transferred to the navy ship Rhodes
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Eighty refugees and migrants out of the 508 that are staying at the open camp at the port of Mytilene were transferred to the navy ship "Rhodos" which is docked at the town's port.
They were the only ones to be identified during the specific procedure that is held at the police headquarters in Mytilene.
The other 428 were housed either in buses or were sent to the fenced area or to the indoor passenger waiting area due to the heavy rain.
All the above people entered Greece in March when, at a government's decision, the asylum application procedure was suspended. After the completion of the identification procedure, they will be transferred with the navy vessel Rhodos to the Greek mainland where they will be hosted in a closed type facility.
