An unbelievable act of stupidity and fanaticism unfolded during the football match for the Turkish championship between Rizespor-Alanyaspor. The home team entered the pitch, wearing blue berets and camo jackets while reciting the Turkish National Anthem!

The absurdity of the case is that members of the team are also many foreign athletes from various countries of Africa, Europe,, and Latin America, who were forced to play in this scenario of nationalist delinquency.

The reason for this provocative action, which was not in line with the sporting spirit, was the presence of Greek footballers in the rival of Alanyaspor.

Tasos Bakasetas, Giorgos Tzavellas and Manolis Siopis were playing for the host Turkish team and the hosts obviously following the climate created by Erdogan wanted to imitate him in this challenging way.

For the story the game ended in a draw, 1-1 and it seems that the uniforms did not scare the Greeks players….
