Record number of covid cases in Greece - over 300 in a day

Deaths in Greece from the coronavirus reached 301. Specifically, an 89-year-old man who also suffered from underlying diseases was the last victim to succumb. However, the number of coronavirus cases recorded in the last 24 hours in thecountry also showed a rapid increase.
More specifically, health watchdog EODY in a written announcement on Thursday afternoon announced 372 new cases of COVID-19 in Greece, of which 164 are associated with known influxes and 21 were identified after checks at the country's gates.
Now, the total number of cases is 12,452, of which 55.5% are men, while 2,324 (18.7%) are considered related to travel from abroad and 5,511 (44.3%) are related to an already known case. At the same time, 49 citizens are hospitalized with an average age of 70 years, while 12 (24.5%) are women and the rest are men.
