Shipping minister in ICU

The Minister of Shipping and Island Policy, Giannis Plakiotakis, who has been diagnosed positive for the coronavirus, was admitted to the ICU of "Evangelismos" today.
According to first information, he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit for purely preventive reasons in order to be given oxygen. The same information states that he has not been intubated and that his condition is characterized by doctors as stable and controlled.
It is recalled that yesterday the minister wrote in a post on social media: "Thank you very much for your love and wishes. I am in good hands. Doctors and nursing staff do the best for everyone and they deserve a huge thank you. I wish all patients a speedy return to our loved ones."
