Mystery with the disappearance of a 19-year-old girl in Koropi

The developments around the case, which has become a thriller, are rapid and lead, as it seems, to a person who lives in Athens and can know with whom she came in contact before the young girl disappeared. The fact is confirmed by the family lawyer, Anastasios Dougas.

"The police investigations and ours have turned to the wide environment of the girl. We are focusing on a specific person, who we believe knows crucial information in the case, and had contact with the girl before she disappeared based on specific testimony, but who for some reason is keeping his mouth shut. This person is wanted by the police for the last days and we hope that he will be located soon. It is a case that requires delicate handling because what we want is for the girl to be found as soon as possible and her to return to her family ", said Mr. Dougas to iefimerida.gr.

She was abducted, according to the family lawyer

According to the family lawyer, as the days go by -unfortunately- the initial suspicions are confirmed that Artemis fell victim to kidnapping, that someone or some people "trapped" her. "It is clear to us now that Artemis is being held against her will and this will soon be proven. I'm sure some people took advantage of her. I do not know how ", says Mr. Dougas, commenting that the case has turned into a real thriller.

At the same time, the mobilization and interest of citizens is great. Every day, both the police and Mr. Douga's office receive testimonies claiming that they saw Artemis. "It is no coincidence that these testimonies speak of Volos and Athens. It can not be a coincidence. "It is not ruled out that the person or persons holding the girl will move so that they will not be located", says the family lawyer.

Her parents are in a bad psychological state
The concern has peaked for the members of the 19-year-old's family, as to date, unfortunately, none of the facts that have been investigated has led the police to solving the "riddle" of the mystery.

"Her family continues to hope that Artemis will be found and will return home. Hours and days pass with difficulty, but they do not lose hope. Every time an element comes to light, they are armed with fortitude. However, their anxiety has reached red ", the lawyer of the family explains, clarifying that the girl did not have psychological problems. There was no quarrel, nor did she seem to be bothered or troubled by anything.

It is recalled that Artemis left her home at noon on October 16 to go to a toy department store in Peania, where she would be interviewed for a job. Since then, her traces have disappeared and her mobile phone is turned off. As it turned out from the police investigations, Artemis never went to the interview. A security camera showed her walking on the day of her disappearance on a street in Koropi, in the direction of the bus stop that would take her to her destination. However she headed to a different bus stop, something that even today her own people cannot explain. On the day she disappeared, at 5 in the afternoon, fifty minutes before she hung up her cell phone, witnesses saw the 19-year-old outside a telephone shop in Paiania arguing with someone and then getting into a black car and disappearing. So someone "fished" the girl, maybe through the internet, made an appointment with her and trapped her, and is holding her against her will. That is why the lawsuit we have filed is for kidnapping ", the family lawyer emphasizes.
