- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
The Hellenic American Union and the Museum of Greek Children’s Art are joining forces to hold two online hands-on creative workshops this coming weekend, inviting primary school children to make Christmas tree decorations and cards for friends and family.
Markers, crayons, colorful papers, gold dust, and ribbons are only some of the materials used to show young participants how to create joyous, festive art to welcome the happy days of Christmas and the New Year.
The first workshop is called "I’m home, but here’s my ornament...” and will be held on Saturday, December 19, at 12:00 noon, and the second one is called "I’m home, but here’s my card..." and will be held on Sunday, December 20, also at 12:00 noon.
The workshops will be led by Athanasia Sklirou, artist and curator at the Museum of Greek Children's Art.
Participation is free but places are limited. Register online now at https://www.hau.gr/?i=culture.en.current_forth_events.6275
