Greek FM expresses dissatisfaction over latest snub regarding int’l meeting on Libya
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Officially Athens, through its foreign minister, on Thursday expressed its displeasure over again not being invited by host Germany to an international conference on the future of Libya.
Speaking from the podium of an international conference on cultural legacy, Dendias reminded that “Greece has a direct dialogue and contact with the Libyan side … we are very disappointed over the fact that Germany, which persistently insist on this course, did not invite us to the meeting on Libya.”
Moreover, he reiterated that what is now imperative is the immediate withdrawal of all foreign forces and mercenaries from Libya.
The next such meeting will be held in Berlin on June 23.
