- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
The US State Department on Tuesday lowered its Covid-19 risk profile for travel to Greece and Cyprus, to “level 3”, following a recommendation by the federal Center for Disease Control (CDC), a decision that affects roughly 50 countries.
“Level 3”, for the State Department, is “Reconsider Travel: Avoid travel due to serious risks to safety and security.”
The lower risk assessment was also extended to traditional holiday destinations, such as Spain, Italy and France.
