The Ambassador of France, Mr. Patrick Maisonnave, expressed his satisfaction with the ratification by the Greek Parliament of the agreements for the acquisition of French weapon systems.
"I am particularly pleased that the Parliament has expressed its broad support for the selection of French high-tech weapons systems in the air and sea sectors. This is an impressive vote of confidence that stands at the height of the historical friendship that unites our peoples. We are proud to contribute to the modernization of the Greek armed forces and to the strengthening of their interoperability with the French forces. I am convinced that the security of our two countries, Europe and NATO, will benefit significantly from the Greek-French strategic partnership we signed for cooperation in defense and security."
