- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
The Ministry of Shipping made a "strong recommendation" to Greek ship-owning companies to avoid waters under the jurisdiction of Iran, when they cross the Persian Gulf, in the Straits of Hormuz, and the Gulf of Oman.
Where are Greek ships?
According to sources from the Ministry of Shipping, the Prudent Warrior is anchored in the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas, while the Delta Poseidon currently remains at the same location in the Persian Gulf.
The Delta Poseidon has a crew of 25, including two Greeks, and the Prudent Warrior has a crew of 23, including 8 Greeks and a Cypriot.
The two Greek tankers are occupied by the Guards of the Revolution, while the crew remains on both ships and the members are in good health.
