Covid-19 pandemic in Greece: 148,435 new cases in a week – 200 new related fatalities, 115 intubated patients

Greece confirmed 13,723 new Covid-19 cases per 1 million people in July 11-17, the National Public Health Organization (EODY) said on Tuesday, in its new weekly report, bringing all confirmed infections, since the beginning of the pandemic, to 4,210,771.
Additionally, 18 related fatalities per 1 million people were recorded in July 11-17 (15% weekly change), bringing the death toll to 30,707. In terms of the victims, 95.7 percent had an underlying condition or were aged above 70.
A total of 115 patients remained intubated in hospital ICUs. Their median age is 71 years, while 92.4 percent have an underlying condition or are above the age of 70.
