Greek police has launched a manhunt seeking the 22-year-old Pakistani, partner of the 17-year-old who was found dead on Monday at her home in Peristeri.
17-year-old Nicoleta was found dead by her sister and her mother's partner on Monday night, in her bed, half-naked, without her blouse.
Her mother had left their house in Peristeri at 4 in the afternoon for work. An hour later she sought her daughter on the phone, without being able to find her. Later she looked for her again and when at 8 or 9 in the evening the family became worried, as they could not locate her, she sent her youngest daughter with her partner to their home in Peristeri to see what was happening. There they were faced with the hideous sight.
The 17-year-old Nicoleta, who, according to the first evidence, was murdered, had been in a relationship with the 22-year-old Pakistani for the last 10 months. In fact, the girl had brought the young man home to stay together, causing her mother's sharp reaction. The couple's fights were constant and intense. As an additional fact it should be recorded that the 22-year-old had keys to the family's house. It is noted that there were no signs of tampering at the door of the house.
The medical examiner, who undertook to examine the body of the 22-year-old, found that the first evidence shows that it was not suicide but a criminal act and that the girl suffered a suffocation death. The perpetrator closed the girl's airways, blocking her mouth and nose, while there were also abrasions on the 17-year-old's cheek.
Police are looking for the 22-year-old Pakistani man, who allegedly visited a friend's house, collected some of his belongings and disappeared.
