- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
A controlled explosion occurred early in the morning at the junction of Acharnon and Sourmeli streets, outside the tectonic arcade in the center of Athens.
It was preceded by a warning call at 6.30 without a time limit for the placement of an explosive device.
The explosion was of low power. All it caused to the Masonic Lodge was blackening of the wall and minor property damage.
Acharnon Street has been closed in both directions, from the intersection with Makedonias Street to Vathi Square.
