Greek PM Mitsotakis at the Ministry of Environment

In the wake of the great fires in Attica, Boeotia, Corinthia and Rhodes, Kyriakos Mitsotakis visited the Ministry of Environment and Energy, where he was received by Minister Thodoris Skylakakis.
He is expected to have a meeting with the Minister of Environment and Energy Theodoros Skylakakis and the political leadership.
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis visited yesterday, Wednesday (19/07), the coordination center for operations and crisis management of Civil Protection, in order to be informed about the developments on the fire fronts.
The meeting also discussed the emergency plan to be implemented in the coming days, taking into account all the new meteorological data. As the National Weather Service warns of very high temperatures of up to 45 degrees Celsius, drought and from next week strong winds, the state machinery will be on alert and all ministers at their posts.
