The description of his battle with cancer
During his hospitalization at "Laiko", Nikos Floriniotis, some time ago, had spoken to the Star. "I am hospitalized because my tests showed something and it was recommended that I be admitted so that my health condition can be closely monitored. After 6 months of treatment it was time to change, to move on to the second cycle. Tomorrow I start my new treatment. With the help of God, doctors and your love, we hope to be with you soon," he had said.
On 28/11 Nikos Floriniotis had published on Instagram a snapshot of the visit he received and he was particularly happy, as Kostas Hardavellas was by his side.
"I thank Mr. Costas Hardavella from the bottom of my heart for the honor he did me and came to see me in the hospital and give me his book by signing it. I will never forget that he was one of the first when he found out about my health problem and called me to give me courage," wrote Nikos Floriniotis.
A day later, on 29/11, he also spoke to TV show "Super Katerina". "I'm in the hospital, I came to do repeat tests. They have to change my treatment. I will definitely stay here for 1-2 days to be monitored to see how the new treatment is going. God first, I hope everything goes well. I'm a bit overwhelmed because I had an exam that bothered me a bit, I was in a lot of pain, I was throwing up. I believe everything will go very well. I have a very positive mindset and I believe that my father is watching over me from up there," Nikos Floriniotis had characteristically said at the time.
