- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs has handed a note verbale to the Turkish government regarding a recent Turkish Navtex and related information reported by media, diplomatic sources said on Tuesday.
The sources also informed that letters of protest have been sent by the Hydrographic Service to the relevant International Maritime Organization (IMO) agency and to the Spanish coordinator for the Navtex of the Mediterranean and Black Sea region.
As the sources underlined, Turkish claims have been rejected in all documents and the legal validity of Greek positions is asserted.
