Elderly man allegedly resposible for four fires in Glyka Nera to testify on Wednesday

Α 80-year-old man who was arrested on a warrant, as the culprit of causing four fires in Glyka Nera last Sunday, August 11, will testify to the examining magistrate on Wednesday.
The 80-year-old man was brought to court on Sunday and given a deadline, is charged with arson.
The elderly man is allegedly responsible for three fires that broke out at noon on Sunday, almost simultaneously, in Glyka Nera, at a distance of 100 meters from each other, as well as for one more in the evening of the same day.
According to evidence, from video material collected against him by the authorities, the 80-year-old man appears to be throwing burning objects on dry grass while driving his car.
