According to onlarissa.gr, he was spotted the day before yesterday Sunday evening in the city center, specifically next to the "Kostas Tsianos" Theater in Mylos tou Pappa.
The man from Larissa who spotted it with his friends were alarmed at the sight of the lithokeros in the center of Larissa. It is a venomous aquatic insect, the largest aquatic insect in Europe. It looks like a cockroach that swims and flies, and can grow to a size of 12 cm. Its bite is poisonous but not fatal to humans and causes acute pain.
The Lithocerus or Lethocerus Patruelis Belostomatidae as its official name is, is usually found in warm and tropical climates (rarely in Greece, until the last 2-3 years), while its length can even reach 12 centimeters.
