Man sets dogs on man who was late on rent

An incredible incident occurred last Tuesday in the Ampelokipi area of Thessaloniki.
According to the Police, a 25-year-old man, who had sublet an apartment to a 26-year-old fellow Greek, barged into the house with two dogs in order to ask him to leave. When the 26-year-old refused, the 25-year-old ordered the dogs to attack him. He then removed the 200 euros from his wallet.
Police officers from the Ampelokipi Menemeni Security Department managed to locate the 25-year-old last night, who according to thestival is from Syria, and handcuff him. The stolen amount of money was found in the possession of the arrested person and was returned to the victim. The arrested person will be brought to the competent judicial authorities.
