Shocking case of police officer raping his offspring

The spokesperson for the Hellenic Police, Constantia Dimoglidou, spoke about the shocking case of the Parliament police officer who raped his children.
Later in the day, the investigator will go to the hospital where the 45-year-old is being treated in order to apologize for the atrocities attributed to him, with Ms. Dimoglidou stating that in their (the police) case file, his wife, also a police officer, is a victim of chronic sexual and physical abuse, as a result of which she has testified about the case in the presence of a psychologist.
“The children report sexual and physical abuse by both parents”
At the same time, the spokesperson for the Hellenic Police said that the police officer’s children have reported “sexual and physical abuse by both parents”, something that his wife confirms in her complaint, claiming that he forced her to commit these indecent acts under force.
"I do not know if anything will come out against her during the investigation and if any charges will be brought against her for any offense, because she herself states that she essentially participated in some acts against the children. Everything that the mother states in her complaint, unfortunately, is also confirmed by the children.
We are talking about extensive abuse from a young age by both parents. I clarify that the mother essentially states that this man forcibly urged and forced her to commit indecent acts and the children confirm this with their statements," he said characteristically.
At the same time, she pointed out that we do not know how mentally strong this woman was throughout her life with this man, to resist what he forced her to do, while at the same time he noted that there was not the slightest indication from her professional presence at the Service that she was experiencing such a nightmare.
“She was around police officers every day, but she never turned to the Police”
Finally, Ms. Dimoglidou also spoke about the woman’s delay in speaking about the nightmare she had been living with her children all these years, even though she was a police officer and knew all the procedures.
“Although this woman moved around police officers every day, of course she could have asked for help at any time, she herself, as a police officer, knew the procedures, but unfortunately she never turned to the Police or anyone close to her to convey the information that something was happening,” she said.
