"You're done now" shouted hooded men who hit a doctoral student with a fire extinguisher at an event at the Faculty of Law

The hooded men who stormed an event at the Faculty of Law on Wednesday night, seriously injuring a doctoral student with a fire extinguisher, were amuck, as according to Professor Ioannis Mazis they shouted "you're done now".
Describing the attack that lasted "7-8 minutes", Mr. Mazis said that "the student tried to push them away but there was one person against 8 people". Another eyewitness described to SKAI that "they were beating him (the doctoral student) on all parts of his body, mainly on the head, he received violent blows from helmets and crowbars".
After his injury, the student was transferred to the "Red Cross" hospital where he was stitched up and underwent a CT scan.
The bloody invasion during the "Career Days" event organized by the DAP student union that is allied to the governing party, was made known in a post by Professor Konstantinos Grivas, with the hooded men also assaulting Professor Giorgos Fili.
The professor's testimony
“We were in a break from the event that had started about two hours earlier,” described to protothema.gr the professor of the Department of Turkish and Asian Studies, Yiannis Saridakis. “We had gone out into the corridor with professors Mazis, Grivas and Fili when suddenly we saw the group of strangers in front of us. They were all dressed in black, with helmets and full faces. They entered the room where there were 50-60 people, attacked with fire extinguishers. Our doctoral student tried to stop them. They beat him badly. The room was filled with blood. They said nothing. They were climbing the stairs four by four. Their goal was violence, they neither said anything, nor did they seem to have any goal. They entered, attacked and left. They were not anti-authoritarians, they functioned more like a strike group.”
Mr. Saridakis points out that if the invasion had taken place a little earlier, before the break, things would have been worse, since some students had left during the break and so the back seats of the hall were empty when the hooded men entered. The “Career Days” event was organized by the DAP, included speeches and was attended by students regardless of party affiliation.
Professor Konstantinos Grivas’ post
“During the “Career Days” event, and shortly before the scheduled discussion began, a group of about ten people with covered faces – with hoods and helmets – violently invaded the space and attacked those present without provocation.”
The event was attended by professors Kostas Grivas, Ioannis Mazis, Giorgos Filis and others, as mentioned in the post.
