This is the Azerbaijani arrested for espionage in Souda - His method is similar to that of the one arrested in Cyprus

Authorities have provided information about the 26-year-old Azeri who was arrested in Chania on suspicion of espionage.
The National Intelligence Service is in direct contact with the secret services of other countries, in order to determine whether he had been mapped by someone before his arrest in Chania.
This is J.N., whose passport was issued by the Azerbaijani authorities with an expiration date of September 13, 2031.
Caught with photos of a Greek frigate
The authorities found that he had purchased the camera he was using on January 7, in Patisia. In his pocket at the time of his arrest, he had a 64 MB memory card, with 23 videos and 9 photos of the Greek frigate Kountouriotis.
The Greek authorities conclude that the 26-year-old's modus operandi matches that of the 40-year-old Azeri who was arrested in Cyprus, just two 24-hours before his arrest in Souda, who was allegedly photographing military installations in Paphos and Limassol.
These are "small" elements, as competent sources describe them, but which in no case go unnoticed and these - among others - are the choice of room, the equipment found during the raids, as well as the choice to pay only in cash.
EYP executives have been in contact with the secret services of other countries from the very beginning, in order to determine whether the 26-year-old belongs to the same network as the arrested man in Cyprus, which operates under the orders of Iranians.
In any case, it is considered an extremely serious case, with 26-year-old Azeros still not cooperating with the Greek authorities and being under constant surveillance during his detention.
