Ano Liosia: Police chase car driven by 8-year-old Roma boy - He did not stop and ended up in a garage door

An car chase of an... 8-year-old Roma boy occurred on Monday afternoon (28/7) in Ano Liosia as the little boy was spotted driving a car without license plates.
According to information, everything happened at approximately 19.10 in the afternoon when police officers riding in a patrol car spotted a car without license plates at the intersection of Fylis and Eleftherias streets and signaled the driver to stop.
He ignored the signal and sped up in an attempt to escape. A chase ensued and on Gemistou and Scholariou Streets the car crashed into a garage door, fortunately without any injuries. The doors opened and then the police officers were surprised to see an 8-year-old child getting out of the driver’s seat!
The child was taken to the police station, while his 27-year-old mother was arrested for neglect of a minor.
