Meeting Mitsotakis – Tzitzikostas: Greece to secure €80 billion after tough negotiations

Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis welcomed Commissioner Apostolos Tzitzikostas to a meeting with several relevant ministers to discuss priorities and intergovernmental coordination
Commissioner Tzitzikostas, overseeing a significant EU portfolio covering infrastructure, transport, shipping, tourism, military mobility, and the automotive industry, expressed his happiness to be present.
The Commissioner highlighted the economic importance of his portfolio, representing approximately 30% of the EU's GDP and over 40% of Greece's GDP.
He praised the Greek government's excellent collaboration and Greece's credibility and leading role in many EU policies.
Tzitzikostas noted that Greece has secured over €80 billion in funds during the current programming period due to constructive cooperation and successful negotiations.
