Georgiadis Visits Washington: Contacts at Capitol and White House on Health and US Investment

The cooperation between Greece, the United States and Israel, as well as the attraction of US investments in the health sector, were at the center of the contacts that Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis had in Washington.
Mr. Georgiadis participated in a roundtable discussion on Capitol Hill with members of the Congressional Hellenic Israel Alliance Caucus.
A. Georgiadis: Met with the head of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, Michael Kratsios
The meeting was attended by representatives Gus Bilirakis, Brad Schneider, Nicole Malliotaki, Mike Charidopoulos and Morgan Griffith, while Julie Reiman, representative of the American Jewish Committee (AJC), was also present. The discussion, among other things, focused on issues related to original therapies applied in the United States, as well as the prospect of implementing corresponding clinical studies in Greece.
The Minister of Health also met with the head of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, Michael Kratsio, on the application of artificial intelligence in the health sector and the attraction of relevant American investments. For his part, Mr. Kratsios expressed particular interest and requested information on investment plans regarding the creation of a large data center in Western Macedonia.
