Nea Peramos: The scenarios that the Hellenic Police are examining for the brutal murder of the 27-year-old
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
The Homicide Unit officers handling the case are trying to shed light on the dark corners of the murder case of the 27-year-old who was found dead in a stream in Nea Peramos (area pictured) a few days ago.
In the first phase, the investigators are looking for the place where the perpetrators held the 27-year-old prisoner before finally executing him with 10 bullets (nine in the back and one in the head). In the second phase, the main question they are asked to answer concerns the motive, that is, the reason why the perpetrators armed themselves.
Information also indicates that the body of the 27-year-old man was also identified through DNA.
From what has been known so far, the victim comes from a well-off family, while he also ran a personnel management company in Aspropyrgos. Thus, one of the scenarios being examined is whether financial differences are hidden behind the crime or whether the 27-year-old knew something he shouldn't and wanted to shut him up.
Moreover, it is surprising that, after kidnapping him outside his home, the kidnappers never contacted his family, nor did they express any demands. On the contrary, they held the 27-year-old captive for six days, then killed him and then attempted to burn him without succeeding.
In addition, the investigation has also come under the microscope of the murder of a businessman that took place in February 2024 in Mandra. This is because there is information that the businessman and the 27-year-old (who has never been of concern to the authorities) knew each other, but no clear connection has emerged between them so far.
Investigators are collecting statements from people close to him, while there are also reports that in the recent past he had expressed some concerns to his relatives.
