- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
In an orderly manner and with honking horns, the farmers left with their tractors from Syntagma, where they spent the night.
The farmers left
The departure of the tractors began at 11:00, following the route: Syntagma, Panepistimiou, Omonia, Metaxourgio, from where they headed to the Athens-Lamia and Athens-Corinth national roads.
The three tractors that had arrived from the Athens-Corinth national road were loaded onto transport trucks and are returning to their starting point, while the 41 tractors that arrived in the capital from the north side headed to the Afidna toll booths, where at 1:00 p.m. they began to be loaded onto platforms and returned to the province.
After the tractors left, all roads in Athens were reopened and traffic is now flowing normally.
