Drunk New Zealand expat crashes into a dozen cars in Ampelokipi

A 40-year-old expatriate from New Zealand was arrested at 01:00 in the morning in the center of Athens, after being found driving under the influence of alcohol.
According to information, while trying to park her vehicle, she caused successive collisions with 14 parked vehicles on Messinias, Kandanos, Trikala and Kalamon streets, in the Ampelokipi area.
The incident caused extensive material damage, with no injuries reported.
The driver was arrested by the competent authorities, while a criminal case was filed against her.
In the video presented by protothema, the trajectory of the car driven by the woman originally from New Zealand can be seen at the moment she collides with the first cars.
Traffic police officers were called to the scene and performed a breathalyzer test on the 40-year-old, which showed that she was driving with an alcohol level of 0.78 mg/L in her system and she was arrested.
