Greek Unemployment Recedes after 48 Months

Unemployment is dropping and the labor market seems to be stabilizing was the message sent by labor minister Yannis Vroutsis, on the occasion of the Hellenic Statistical Authority's (ELSTAT) announcement concerning a decrease in unemployment rate.
Mr. Vroutsis also stressed that what matters most are people, rather than numbers and pledged that the government will continue and even intensify efforts to support the undemployed and maintain cohesion.
As the minister noted that unemployment figure for the second quarter of 2013 dropped, for the first time in 48 months, since mid-2009
