Venizelos Attacks Die Zeit

Government vice president and foreign minister Evangelos Venizelos categorically refuted an article in German newspaper Die Zeit, according to which he had asked European Central Bank board member Joerg Assmusen to alter data on the Greek deficit.
In his announcement Mr. Venizelos calls the article completely inaccurate and demands the refutation of the article by the ECB and Mr. Assmusen personally.
"The description is inaccurate," was the comment of the ECB on Die Zeit's article.
