Thessaloniki Model United Nations Kicks Off Today!

The 13th Model UN conference, coined ThessISMUN, is being held at the University of Macedonia in Greece's second largest city. It is regarded as one of the most prestigious European student conferences, with over 400 delegates participating.

ThessISMUN garners international undergraduate and graduate students, during its 5 day seminar. The goals of the Model UN meeting are to imitate UN working bodies and regional organization discussions, under ambassadorial roles.  

The global forum boosts communication skills, international awareness, democracy promotion, conflict resolution examinations and negotiation development.  ThessISMUN provides authentic United Nations activities to international studies students, who plan on working in the diplomatic and global arena.
