Parliament Grants Golden Dawn Members Preparation Time
Golden Dawn members Dimitris Koukoutsis, Nikos Kouzilos, Eleni Zaroulia and Michalis Arvanitis have been granted additional time today, to prepare before facing court magistrates.
The four right-wing MP's Parliamentary immunity was recently lifted, and will face charges of being involved in a criminal terrorist sector. Koukoutis is scheduled to be tried on June 6th, while Kouzilos is slated for June 10th. Zaroulia, who is the wife of Golden Dawn leader Nikos Michaloliakos, will be brought before a magistrate on June 12th, and Arvanitis will face the court system on June 13th.
Additionally, three more Golden Dawn MPs had their immunity lifted on April 30th; their court dates have yet to be determined. Greek Parliament is still deciding on Former Golden Dawn lawmaker Chrysovalantis Alexopoulis' charges.
