- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Government reform minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with Troika representatives today and will again meet with them on Friday at 15.00 in the afternoon in order to finalize negotiations.
The issues in focus are the extension of the measures for suspension for two months concerning the next batch of 12,500 civil servants, and the inclusion of terminated short term contract employees as lay-offs and not withdrawals.
Today's meeting went very well, with Troika inspectors expressing satisfaction with the first round of personnel cutbacks.
